The new server continues to broadcast the same message "no server based license, etc" about every 15 minutes or so. As I mentioned earlier, I tried using "Ghost" to copy the drive but it hits a "bad block error" and aborts the copy. If I could figure out a way to copy the old drive to a new drive, that would satisfy me and buy some time. I'm very worried that the old Novell server is going to die soon since the harddrive is probably over 6 years old. To be honest with you, Novell is something that I've never had any experience with except when there is a problem. I read the information you recommended, but I'm probably too uneducated to figure out what I've read. No, I'm still unable to resolve the license problem.
